We are reaching out as a family during one of the hardest moments of our lives.
Pha Sayachack has been detained and is now awaiting deportation to Laos while at work. The hardest part is that the United States is the only home he has ever truly known. He was raised here, grew up here, and built his entire life here. While Laos is his country of origin, it is a place he barely knows and where he has no real support system.
He has always been one of the hardest-working people we know — someone who put everyone else before himself and did everything he could to provide for and take care of his family. His dedication, sacrifice, and love are things we deeply admire and are forever grateful for.
On top of everything, he has ongoing medical issues that will require continued care after deportation. The loss of consistent medical treatment and access to necessary medications makes this transition even more frightening for all of us. As a family, our biggest concern is making sure he can receive proper healthcare and support while adjusting to life in a new country.
He is now being forced to start over in a place where he has no home, no job, limited resources, and serious health concerns.
Watching someone who has given so much to others face this alone is heartbreaking for our entire family.
This GoFundMe is meant to help our Pha get settled in Laos — to secure safe housing, food, transportation, access to medical care and medications, and basic necessities while he works to rebuild his life from the ground up.
Any support, no matter how small, truly means the world to our family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for standing with our family.
