We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts, seeking your support for a remarkable young boy named Phanit. Due to unforeseen financial and logistical challenges within his family, Phanit faces the heartbreaking reality of being forced to leave his home in Kep, jeopardizing his education and future. Without your help, he may have to return to northern Cambodia, where schooling options are limited and his chances of becoming a rural worker at such a young age are alarmingly high.

Phanit is a bright, curious 11 year old who deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. He has shown incredible promise, but without the support he needs, his potential will be stifled. Our family, a household of five, has opened our hearts and home to Phanit, offering him the love and stability he desperately needs. In our nurturing environment, he can continue his education and develop the skills necessary for a brighter future.

However, maintaining his schooling and daily care comes with financial challenges that we cannot currently meet alone. We are seeking your generosity to help cover Phanit’s living and educational expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ensure that Phanit can stay in Kep, where he can flourish in a supportive family atmosphere.

All funds raised will go towards his daily living, schooling, books & stationery, sustenance, clothing, medical, travel, and any other unforseen financial issues.

We have set the target for the first 18 months that he will be living with us, but really need to maintain this budget annually for the next 7 years until he is of school leaving age.

As a result, the target of this appeal will be raised accordingly each 12 months or as appropriate.
