Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to tell you about something amazing for Peyton. He was chosen as one of only 10 boys in his 8th grade to go on a special school trip — and this year’s destination is CELP on Catalina Island: Santa Catalina Island, California. CELP is run by Catalina Island Camps in partnership with Ocean Futures Society, and it’s not your average trip.
What makes this trip so special:
• CELP offers a residential outdoor–environmental education program that mixes adventure and learning: students stay on the island for 3–5 days, in cabins on beach or canyon camp.
• During the stay, kids participate in exciting land and sea activities — like snorkeling, kayaking, tide-pooling, hiking, and even marine-ecosystem exploration.
• There are also educational, hands-on experiences: microscope labs, organic gardening and composting, sustainable-living lessons, and learning about biodiversity and ecology by observing real marine life and ecosystems.
• Beyond the activities, CELP aims to give students tools that help them grow in self-confidence, teamwork, communication, respect for nature, and a sense of responsibility for the planet — skills and values they’ll carry for life.
A few family members asked how they could help support him — since the trip does have costs. If you’d like to contribute toward his travel fund, we’ve set up a gofundme.
There is absolutely no pressure at all — your love, support, and encouragement already mean the world to him. We just wanted to share this opportunity for anyone who feels moved to help him experience this amazing journey.

Thank you so much for always cheering him on! ❤️
