On August 10, 2024, my 6-year-old niece should have been enjoying her summer vacation, but instead, she was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and learned that she was about to be in for the fight of her life. Peyton is full of life, wit, and love for all those around her and is facing her diagnosis with so much strength and courage. After 17 days in the hospital and going through her first round of chemo, she is in great spirits and says, "I'm going to kick these cancer bugs," something no 6-year-old should ever have to say.

This GoFundMe was started to help ease the financial burden of the diagnosis and help cover medical bills and treatments, along with transportation to and from the hospital and any other unexpected costs incurred from the diagnosis. The goal is to help alleviate any kind of financial stress so that Peyton's mom Kristen, a single mom and teacher, is able to focus solely on what truly matters - loving, caring for, and supporting Peyton as she undergoes treatments over the next several months.
