Peyton Smith is a 10-year-old little girl with a heart of gold. She loves bugs and sunflowers. Sadly, she went from showing her beloved 4-H animals last week to fighting for her young life just two days later. What seemed like only being tired from a long weekend at the fair and starting school suddenly turned into a rush to the children’s hospital where they discovered a large and very active brain tumor.

The Children’s hospital is unfortunately almost 4 hours away from their home, so her parents James and Rebekka along with their 3 other children will be struggling to make the trip back and forth. We are asking for help to ease the burden of hotel and travel expenses as well as medical needs and child care for their family.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated during this very difficult time in young Peytons life.

Update on Peyton , thank you for prayers. She needs a lot of prayers for the future. She has got a very fast growing tumor but as of right now it is treatable. She will have to have radiation every day for the next six weeks starting today. She is very deep in the woods, but at least there's a path that we can follow, when total pathology reports come through, which will be several days we will know more.
