Hi, My name is Taylor Collins, big sister of Peyton.

Yesterday, my sister's home caught fire while she was inside. She was able to escape. She woke up to smoke and strange noises of people yelling. She jumped up and immediately began gagging from the smoke filling her room. She didn't have her contacts in and couldn't see well despite the smoke. Somehow in the flames and state of shock, she was able to leash up her boyfriend's dog and the dog pulled her out of the back door, Peyton falling backwards on to her back. It was mere minutes that the house was engulfed in flames.

Unfortunately, there was no time to save their roommates pup or Peytons 3 cats ( a momma and her two babies) that she has rescued earlier this year. She is feeling immense grief and guilt, which we have begged her to understand that she did all she could and she is alive.

The neighbors called 911 and 6 fire trucks including an ambulance showed up. She was taken in an ambulance from urgent care to the local emergency room for smoke inhalation among a few other things.

Peyton and her boyfriend (as well as a roommate) lost everything. Their place to live, their pets, their personal items, memories, furniture, its all gone. Tim is such a hard worker. He has worked so hard for what he has.

We believe by GOD'S grace that her dog pulled her out. It's a miracle.

I'm asking if you can give even a few dollars, prayers, or if you live local to Lexington SC or Rock Hill SC any donations can help. She is surrounded by a strong family.

we are praying specifically for help so they can find an apartment in the Lexington SC area where they work. If anyone knows of any apartments you can recommend, please send those in the comments.

Currently, Peyton and Tim are staying with mom in Rock Hill SC. Because of his job location this can only be a temp solution.

In closing, I'd like to say thank you in advance. If anything Peyton would love to be an advocate in this tragedy for unplugging air fryers. The firefighter informed her that even though it was not in use, air fryer have a malfunction that can turn on the heat portion and not turn on the actual air fryer. By the time it catches fire it's too late. IT DOES NOT matter if its new or old. Please consider unplugging electrical items that are not in use. If we can save just one person from this, then the Gofund Me did its job.
