My name is Bryant Mueller. My niece Peyton Mueller was involved in a serious sledding accident on Sunday January 25th in Brownwood and is now classified by as quadriplegic.
She sustained major injuries including a broken neck, broken back, and spinal cord injuries. Other injuries include broken ribs, a broken shoulder blade and internal injuries.
She was relocated via ambulance to Abilene where she had multiple surgeries to stabilize the spine : cervical vertebrae fused together and thoracic and lumbar vertebrae were fused.
Peyton was then relocated to Houston via medical air transport. She spent the next few weeks in intensive care. She was then transferred to Memorial Hermann TIRR to begin rehabilitation. Peyton has been able to move home and begin navigating her new life in a wheelchair. She will have a lengthy rehabilitation period before we know if she will be able to walk independently.
Medical bills are already mounting.
Peyton will use these funds for a wheelchair capable van, an electric wheelchair, and other accommodations to their home so she can use her wheelchair in and around their home. Please donate what you can and share this fundraiser with your friends and family.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
