My name is Petros Afaryan, and I am a dancer based in Yerevan, Armenia. Dance has always been my way of connecting with people — it’s how I’ve celebrated my culture, expressed emotions, and found meaning in life.

A few months ago, my world changed. I was diagnosed with a critical illness that now threatens not just my health but also the future I’ve built around my art. Instead of rehearsals and performances, my days are filled with doctor visits and treatments. It’s been an incredibly difficult shift — physically, emotionally, and financially.

The medical care I need to fight this illness is extremely costly. Between treatments, medications, and procedures, the expenses far exceed what I can afford on my own.
