Hello all...

Petra is one of the strongest fighters known to the tennis world. She's been battling her cancer and has encountered some emotional, stressful and extremely tough times over the past many months.

In the past many months, Petra has been life-flighted/medivac multiple times to three different hospitals. While she continues to fight, she has faced "AFib" issues with her heart, septic pneumonia, fluid in her lungs and weeks in the hospital while the doctors work on those issues. We haven't even told you that her metastatic breast cancer has spread to many of her bones. Her doctors have been helping her manage the pain with fentanyl and morphine, but Petra fights on.

We don't want to scare anyone with this new GoFundMe, and the times are not bleak. Instead we wanted to share that, Petra has been a warrior and fighter spending many weeks in hospitals and ERs. The multitude of new experiences have been stressful and unnerving to Petra, her family and her friends.
