Pete is one of the finest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Responsible, thoughtful, professional, resourceful, and dedicated to his family. Professionally, he is a well-respected Delivery Manager with a long-standing career. A husband and father of three, Pete lives on a farm in Washington, responsible for the support of his family.
On January 8th, Pete suffered a gall bladder attack so violent, a gall stone ripped through his pancreas causing Necrotizing Pancreatitis. The poison released from the fluids shut down his kidneys and caused heart arrhythmia so severe, he had to have heart surgery, became diabetic, and required dialysis for 5 weeks. He was fed through a tube while the fluid collected and drained in his stomach, forming a large cyst. Pete continues to require surgery every other week to clear the dead and dying tissue from his pancreas. He was in two hospitals and in ICU for 49 days. He returned home 2 weeks ago with many procedures ahead. He’s weak but alive and hopeful for the future. A life-changing experience so traumatic and profound it’s difficult to imagine what he and his family have gone through.
After all the stress and pain of his illness, now he is facing another serious challenge. Paying thousands in medical debt and keeping up with his living expenses during his extended illness. We all understand the weight of financial burdens, which is why I’m starting this GoFundMe page. Apart from helping financially, this is a great way of letting Pete and his family know we care and support them all on the road to full recovery. Please help.
Thank you.
