Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

I’m writing to share some very difficult news about someone incredibly special, Pete. At just 40 years old, Pete has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a very aggressive and challenging form of brain cancer, with a typical life expectancy of 1-2 years. This news has come as a shock and devastation to all of us who know and love him. It has turned his world upside down in a matter of a couple of weeks.

Pete will be starting treatments soon and is preparing to face countless appointments and tests with courage. He’s approaching this fight with the strength, humor, and heart we all know him for. But the physical and emotional toll is only part of the battle—there’s also the financial weight that comes with such a diagnosis.

We’re reaching out to ask for help. Donations will go directly toward easing the burdens of medical bills, gas and transportation to and from appointments, and helping Pete maintain some sense of normalcy through this incredibly hard time. A portion of the funds will also be used to help Pete check off a few meaningful experiences from his bucket list—things that bring him joy, connection, and lasting memories.

More than anything, Pete hopes to spend meaningful time with those he loves and make the most of every moment. Whether it's a simple weekend away, a game he's always wanted to attend, or a visit to see old friends—your support will help make these moments possible.
