My dad Pete, and my mom Sarah, have been facing an incredibly tough journey. Pete has battled prostate cancer for years, but last year, after suffering a rib fracture, he was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer. Since June of 2025, Pete has been in constant pain, and every day has brought new challenges for him and our family.

On top of the emotional toll, Pete and Sarah are struggling with mounting medical bills. Pete now needs to be moved into transitional care for the foreseeable future, until he is well enough to walk again. Unfortunately, insurance has not approved some of the most basic necessities, like a wheelchair, despite Pete’s condition. This has made their situation even more difficult, as they try to navigate home care and daily living expenses.

I am committed to supporting Pete and Sarah for as long as it takes. To show my support, I plan to continue growing my hair until we reach our goal, and then I will live stream shaving my head for my dad—something that means a lot to both of us, especially as he’s been worried about losing his own hair.
