Hey. My name is Chris. I recently met this homeless man, Peter. He’s a veteran. He sits on the corner of Niagara Falls Blvd. and military on the bus bench for 8 to 10 hours a day in the snow, and even during a snow blizzard. Every time I see him I shoot him a few dollars or whatever I have in my pocket. But last week, I decided to pull over and have a conversation with him. He lives in a motel with his disabled wife in a wheelchair who has cancer and also his 18-year-old son lives with them. Since having this conversation with Pete, I’ve brought him food and clothes and feet and hand warmers. I’ve brought him to the pharmacy and paid for two of his wife’s cancer medication’s because he didn’t have the money. What I’m trying to do with this go fund me is just raise some money for the family so they can pay for basic essentials, housing, groceries, etc and so that Pete doesn’t need to sit outside in the cold and snow to raise money for his family..
