Support for Peter’s Family During Hospice & Ceremony Planning

In September 2022, my best friend Peter’s (19) mom (39) was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She fought with incredible strength and even cleared the cancer once—but unfortunately, it returned. As of July 2025, doctors have determined it is terminal, and she has now been placed on hospice care.

This transition has brought on unexpected emotional and financial burdens for the family—especially related to planning her ceremony and moving out of their current home. These costs are incredibly overwhelming, and we’re hoping to come together as a community to ease some of the burden.

All funds raised will go directly toward her ceremony. Any additional donations will help support Peter and his family with moving expenses, educational costs, and other urgent life needs that have resulted from this difficult time. Should we exceed those needs, all surplus funds will be donated to women’s cancer research in her honor. 

Peter is one of my closest friends—someone who shows up with quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and the kindest heart. He’s the type of person who’s always there for others, and now I want to be there for him.

All updates and receipts for expenses will be posted, to promote transparency.
