Support Peters 8th London Marathon

Support Peter in his 8th London Marathon on Sunday 27th of April 2025, to raise funds for Friends of Newton PTA!

At 64, Peter is taking on his 8th London Marathon—not just for the challenge, but to make a real difference for the children at Newton Primary School. Not only is he a talented carpenter he is also a third Dan black belt sensei karate instructor. Peter has generously chosen to raise funds for our small but wonderful school, where resources are limited.

We are hoping to raise enough money for multi pitch markings on the outdoor school sport pitch to enhance their sporting skills. We have had a quotation for netball, football and tennis markings which is a staggering £2000. If we can reach our goal the company Fun and Active Playgrounds have offered to include a free hopscotch for the younger students on their playground too.

With Peter’s dedication and your support, we can bring this vision to life! Every donation, big or small will help us reach our goal to create a brighter, more interactive outdoor space for our children.
