My name is Samantha Mitchmore. I'm reaching out to ask for support for my amazing father, Peter Topasna, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has spread to his lungs, hip, kidneys, and other areas.

My dad is a quiet, humble man who has spent his life working hard—often holding down two jobs—to support our family. He’s never been one to ask for help, and honestly, he probably wouldn’t approve of me starting this fundraiser. But right now, he needs us.

Just three months ago, my dad was walking, active, and appeared healthy. Since then, his health has rapidly declined, and he is now wheelchair-bound, in constant and severe pain.

This fundraiser is to help cover his medical expenses, including chemotherapy, and to assist with everyday bills while he’s on medical leave. It's not just for him—it’s also to support my mom, who is by his side every step of the way.

We are asking our friends, family, and community to come together in this difficult time. Any amount, big or small, will help lighten their load so they can focus on what matters most: giving my father the best care possible and easing his pain.
