My name is Peter. This is already humiliating that I have to use this as a last resort, as its not the 1st time Ive had to beg for some financial help from people Ive known + loved for years. I dont want to seem like a freeloader as I have always worked hard + lived a meager life, with only necessities, no luxeries or extras. Not even take out.

Been strugglivg with arthritis for over 20 yrs, chronic 24/7 for the last 14 componded with fibromyalgia. After covid I was forced to move, with finding an old cottage house which was least expensive around, apartments being $500 to $600 more. My hotel bartending job seemed adequet, even though was very little business. ( now going on 5 yrs). About a yr + 1/2 ago started having problems with managers, but when I complained to coorporate, the result was retaliation . Money wasnt enough so after 6 months I found a part time grocery store cashier job to help stay barely afloat. 72 having to work over 50 hrs a week plus ssi to barely keep afloat How is this right? 8 months ago I started having problems with hip, on top of already existing knees, shoulders, back, etc. Had to start using a cane. Pain so unbearable, could hardly walk. Sitting, laying down, + esp driving is almost unbearable. Then 6 months ago hotel started cutting my shifts, trying to force me out. I can barely put shoes or socks on. Doing my job became more difficult, + hotel found an acceptable reason to let me go about 3 weeks ago. About 1/3 of my income. Grocery store giving me as many hours as they can. They treat me with respect + descency, + standing is the least painful position I can maintain. Well 2025 was the worst year. On top of this, my car died. Had to buy the only used car I could qualify for adding a little more than $400 a month for payments + insurance increase. This house is hard to keep a bearable temperature, my electric has skyrocketed + with oil, now over $1000 owed. Cost of Groceries water, + all have skyrocketed. ( but the price of eggs came down).

I have no one in my life to help me physically, financially. Moving out of the question. Would need thousands, + I have trouble movingsomething from 1 room to another plus rents are higher now too. Getting dressed alone is challenging. Trying to find a housemate but its not easy considering strangers.

Cant get assistance because ssi just barely covers neccesary insurances, my rent alone is higher than the max criteria to qualfy. The state should adjust that but you all know how politics is only favoring the rich. My savings were all depleted yrs ago because of health issues. Ive lost my drug coverge so who knows how long my heart meds will last before I have no more.

This is not a place I want to be, because my facebook friends have so gracously helped me in the past. My self esteme is lowe than ever. Charity at this point would be my only salvation to get thru this. Even a $25. donation will help me to eat or keep my phone or electricity from being shut off. I havent been able to afford a hairct in 3 months. I cant even go to doctors because of high deductables. Ive lost my drug coverage because I couldnt keep up with part D premiums. I am hoping for some sympathetic charity from those friends that can afford a little. Getting thru the next couple of months will be the only way I will be able to get back on my feet so I am not forced to give up. Chronic pain + anxiety from it are not easy to endure. I can understand why so many in this kind of situation pray for God to take them. Please help me from getting to this point ive always been a nice person, giving to others who have things worse than I. Hopefully some of you are able to be giving so that my life doesnt end up being a big waste.
