Hello Everyone.

Family, Friends, Collegues, and more. My name is Malcolm Gardner and If you knew my father you've most likely heard my name once or twice. I can't tell you how many people I've met through my dad who knew of me and a good bit about me and the rest of my family. My father cherished his family and loved to tell others about us. My father Peter was my hero, and out of all the lessons he taught me, love was the most important. My dad could enter a room full of strangers and selflessly put love into the minds and hearts of others. He inspired people, helped, and motivated those at their lowest to persevere and stay strong because no matter what you can smile through it all and make it to the brighter side. I can't tell you how many times I've felt the lows of life, where I forgot hope existed. My father always stayed calm and imbodied hope. No matter what we went through he always looked at me joyfully and told me things will get better.

I wish what I am about to tell you was a lie. I wish when my mother called me at work on September 15th at 3:22 pm It was about a tottaly different matter. I wish Monday September 15th was a bad dream that I'm waiting to be woken up from. I wish and would give anything for my father Peter Gardner to still be here with us. My father passed On 9/15 do to complications of blood clot issues he had went to the hospital for a month prior. He went into Cardiac Arrest and passed on. The first responders in the ambulance, doctors, and nurses at the hospital did everything to resuscitate my dad, but there was nothing more that could be done. It pains me to share this with you all, but I am honored to be the one writing these words and hopefully being heard by each and every person who loved my dad or was at some point a part of his life.

I'm reaching out for any donations that can be made to help fund my fathers cremation and memorial service. We are still searching for all the bits and pieces of my fathers final wishes, but at this moment we are only able to go off of the things he told us while still with us. I hope to send my fathers remains to be beside my grandmother and grandfather's in Jamaica. Any money donated will be used to help my family fund all of this for my father and any remainder I will use to pay my fathers previous medical bills and any new occured aswell as to support my mother, 2 sisters, and brother.

I'm not the man my father was, but I'm the man he raised me to be and I will provide for and protect my family just as he did for so long. I know very rough times may be ahead. I know everyone is struggling with everything going on in the world right now, and it pains me to ask for help when I know everyone could use a hand in some way or form at this time. I and my family appreciate anything that can be donated. Even the littlest amount will be of great help and I will figure out how to make things work for my father and family.
