My name is Donna Wood. As a friend of both Peter and Miguel, I have created this ask. Tragically and suddenly, we lost Miguel E. Apodaca. He and Peter Doney were together for 35 years. Not only did Peter lose the love of his life, his best friend, and husband, he also lost Miguel's income. Money is the least important thing to consider when a precious life is lost, except when there is no money for burial, mortgage, food, etc. Fortunately, most of us do not need to navigate a tragic and sudden loss and feel financially destitute while approaching this holiday season. If you have the ability to contribute financially, thank you! Sharing this post would also be appreciated. May we all appreciate those we love and all our blessings today, during the holidays to come, and throughout the New Year. And love your cat if you have one, and adopt one or two if you don't. Miguel was here for the animals. Thank you!
ANY amount, small or large, is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

UPDATE: Peter’s neighbor spent the first day with him and Peter’s sister arrived on Friday, the second day. She will leave this Friday. Peter’s friend, John will visit after his sister returns home. Peter has been getting out of the house and visiting neighbors. Today he went to meet with Rev. Riddell at Unitarian Universalist Church of the Desert.
