Support Peter after his accident!

Peter MacLean, AKA Peter William Woiwod, AKA Peter Slowpoke, AKA Lil' PP needs our help. Late on February 9th, he took an icy misstep on the porch of friend and wasn't able to catch himself in time. He hit the concrete and suffered a serious head injury. He was released from the hospital on Saturday the 13th after several days in the ICU, and will not be able to return to work for some time. He still needs to rest and recover and be always with a friend to watch him so his brain can continue to heal, as there is still blood resolving itself in his brain and he is having some trouble remembering little things.

Peter has been a joy to our circle of friends and our community at large for over a decade. Maybe you've laughed and cried along at one of his Go Slowpoke shows over the years, or found some solace and beauty in one of his records. Maybe he went the extra mile serving you brunch at the Mount Bakery, or drew a funny hippo on your shopping bag at the Co-op. No matter what kind of a day he is having, he always tries to solicit a connection or some kind of unexpected and delightful interaction with the people around him. He will be facing large medical bills as well as lost wages after this accident. I am asking for $3500 for him because of the ambulance ride and ICU out of pocket costs, plus wages. He will probably need at least a week and a half off work. Right now we have the time to care for him but will need more resourses as time goes on...
