Desiree has been battling Alzheimer’s and chronic Lyme disease for 12 years. Her battle is finally coming to an end.
Her husband, Peter, has been her full-time caregiver since his retirement in 2019. He has taken care of every facet of her healthcare, comfort, daily needs, and everything that comes with 24/7 care with a cheerful and loving heart.
He has fought severe COVID in 2020, then thymus cancer in 2021, and has recently had medical complications of his own with his lungs and heart.
The sudden passing of Desiree tips a lot of dominoes of change in Peter’s life, including housing, bills, etc.
