My name is Eric Rangel-Ribeiro. I am raising funds to support Pete Watts – Richmond’s Golf Legend on the Road to Recovery and to Help a Local Hero Heal. Pete's Daughter, Evanda Watts-Martinez, is listed as the beneficiary of the fundraiser as his family has put her in charge of dispensing the funds for Pete's medical and health costs.

Pete Watts, a name that echoes through the fairways of Richmond and beyond, needs our help. On May 6, 2025, Pete suffered a stroke that has left him facing a long and challenging road to recovery.

Pete isn’t just a professional golfer—he’s a local icon, a mentor, and a man who’s shared the course with legends like Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Before golf, he even played professional baseball, showing us all what living with passion and grit means.

Over the years, Pete has dedicated his life to the game, playing in mini tours, mentoring young athletes, and always showing up with heart. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

The funds from this campaign will go directly toward Pete’s medical bills, rehabilitation therapy, and essential living expenses as he recovers. Whether you’ve seen him on the green, benefited from his wisdom, or just admire a life well-played, any contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
