Support Pet Rescue League's Mission

Hi, I'm a fosterer for the Pet Rescue League in Aberdeen, SD.

Our rescue is trying to assist Texas during their time of need. The rescues and shelters there have been struggling to place dogs for a while, just like many locations across the nation. We are wanting to transport up to 5 pups from Texas to SD in order to free up some space for displaced animals due to the flooding. Providing space to keep the displaced animals in Texas will allow the best chance for pets to be reunited with their families after the disaster cleanup. The 5 pups we are looking to bring up are in need of vet care and will be placed in foster homes until they find their forever families. Please consider helping cover the cost of the transport, ongoing living and medical/health care costs for the pups. The pups may be in need of grooming as well.

Pluto was in a shelter with 130 other dogs for almost a year. The shelter reached out to see if we could try to help this boy. He’s a handful but his time was running out. Thanks to his foster family, he is coming to our rescue.

Beau is anywhere from 11-16 years old. He is in a shelter because his owner has dementia. He needs some major TLC and is somewhat losing his sight and becoming deaf. But, he is still a happy boy. Seniors shouldn’t have to be in shelters. A foster family is prepared to open their home to

him.

Carver was saved out of a canal at 6 weeks old. He was in terrible shape. We are happy to say that he is now a happy and healthy boy! And soon he will be on his way to a foster family with our rescue.

Sylvie and Matt were very small puppies when they were found on the side of the road in a pickle jar. They are now strong and healthy. We are still searching for foster homes for these two and if we can find a fosterer for each of them, they will be coming to us as well.
