Perry is known to some from TV, but to us, he’s Dad, Papaw, & friend to many! Perry has been bravely fighting Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a condition that has deeply affected his health. On January 21, Perry underwent a double lung replacement surgery that lasted around 13 hours. The recovery has been incredibly hard, but he is still fighting every day with the same strength and determination he’s always shown. We are forever grateful to the donor family whose selfless gift made this possible.

We are reaching out for support as we navigate the next steps in Perry’s recovery. The funds raised will help us cover expenses needed to stay near the hospital during his recovery, medical expenses, travel, and the time off needed to care for him. Perry is incredibly strong and has always been a fighter, but this recovery will take time, resources, and the support of our community. Every bit of help will make a difference in getting things in order and giving him the best chance at healing.
