Hi everyone,

My name is Peri and my sidekick's name is Peekwee. We are reaching out with an open heart to ask for your help in making a lifelong dream come true: starting over and building a new life in Colorado.

For as long as I can remember, Colorado has felt like the place I was meant to be. The mountains, the fresh air, the sense of peace and possibility—it’s always called to me. I’ve held onto this dream through some incredibly tough times, and I still believe that a fresh start is not only possible but necessary for my mental, emotional, and personal growth.

Life hasn’t been easy, and it hasn’t always been fair. I've never felt like I’ve had that safety net underneath me through life. I’ve faced challenges that have knocked me down more times than I can count—emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Those of you who may know me personally know how much I have grown and how far I have come by myself over the years. Through it all, I’ve kept pushing forward, trying to stay hopeful. The truth is, I’m at a point where I need to leave behind the pain and the weight of everything that’s held me back. I’m ready to reclaim my happiness and build a new chapter.

My plan as of now is to hopefully make my journey out west by the end of the year. My lease here in Savannah, Georgia, ends in September, and I will most likely couch surf to save as much money as I can after that.

Once I land in Colorado, I do have a support system in my best friend since high school, Kasan. He and I have always been two peas in a pod in the sense of who we are as people. I’m hopeful for a future where we’re back together again. That dude is my family.
