This little guy is Pepsi, and he is my whole heart. I adopted him earlier this year, and he quickly became the most important part of my day-to-day life. His calm disposition, sweet cuddles, and penchant to ask for too much food won me over so completely and wholeheartedly in such a short time. And now I struggle to think about what a life without him would be like.

This past week I almost found out, with him quickly deteriorating from being his normal self one morning to throwing up and barely being able to breathe that evening. After a long overnight, and expensive, trip to kitty ER, he's stable and back home with me, along with a fresh diagnosis of heartworm and FIV.

Pepsi has a long road ahead of him with vet visits, monitoring his breathing, and distracting him with food so I can stick his medication in the back of his leg. And while I want to help him through this, and I will be there for him physically for as long as he's here with me. My time and love for him is infinite, but my money is sadly not.

After this past ER visit, I'm already $1,000 in debt, and he has vet visit follow-ups and more medication for the foreseeable future. The money raised here will directly help me take care of Pepsi to the fullest and give him the best level of care I can, without money having to keep me from doing so.

I'm so grateful to have my cat in my life, and equally as grateful to any who are willing help me raise the funds to keep him here with me for as long as possible.
