Support Pepa's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On May 7th, Pepa, everyone’s favorite high school theatre dog, was out for a walk with her brother (Cooper) and her sister (Gracie Mae) and, in her excitement to see one of the neighbor dog-friends, she leapt upon a curb causing injury to her CCL (ACL for Dogs).
Normally, I wouldn’t do this. I’m still very much a product of a time and space where you don’t openly acknowledge when circumstances are somewhat a strain, but between necessary bathroom renovations AND this, I felt that enough of you have had the opportunity to interact with this delightful little girl, perhaps some of you might consider helping out.
Pepa will need TPLO surgery on her rear leg, which is estimated at “$5300-500 plus $525 for overnight care” (VSRP Roswell). Regardless of whether we make our donation goal or not, she’s scheduled for surgery on June 30th, and will have 3 months of recovery ahead of her. For those of you who know me, Pepa has been, truly, the most present and consistent unconditional love in my life for the past 10 years, so she’d get the surgery no matter what the cost. However, I know she has been present in many of your lives, and rehearsals, and shows, so if you can, I know we’d appreciate any support.
