If you’ve been following Penny’s journey, you already know—she’s not just a dog. She’s a little fighter with a huge heart.
Penny was rescued as a puppy, born with a cleft palate and a heart murmur. From the very beginning, she’s beaten the odds and brought so much joy to everyone who knows her. What started as a rescue story quickly turned into something bigger—Penny has built a community of people who love her and cheer her on every step of the way.
But right now, she needs that support more than ever.
Just recently, Penny went through TPLO surgery. It was a big procedure, and cost upwards of $10,000, but it was worth it for our Penny girl. She's been recovering so well and has been such a fighter through her recovery.
Then everything changed.
Penny suddenly became very sick, and after rushing her to the vet, spending days at the clinic on fluids and lots of tests, we got devastating news—she may have meningitis.
We are heartbroken and overwhelmed. The treatment is intensive and urgent, and we’re now facing an additional $6,000-10,000 in medical costs to give her a chance to fight this.
Anyone who knows Penny knows she is strong, resilient, and full of life. She’s overcome so much already, and we truly believe she deserves the opportunity to keep fighting.
We also understand that this is a lot, and we would never ask if we didn’t truly need the help. If you’ve ever smiled at one of Penny’s posts, shared her story, or felt connected to her journey, we’re asking for your support now.
Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, it means everything to us.
We’ll be posting updates on Penny’s condition as we go. Thank you for being part of her story and for giving her a chance.
