For those who know, Penny is one of the hardest-working and most selfless people around. As a single woman and hairdresser, she has spent her life taking care of others, always showing up for her clients, family, children, and her two grandsons, whom she absolutely adores.

For the past 5 years, she has been quietly battling severe GI issues that have greatly affected her health and quality of life. After years of trying different treatments and pushing through daily pain and struggles, surgery is now her only option in hopes of finally finding relief and getting her life back.

Because of the surgery and recovery, she will be unable to work for at least five weeks. As a hairdresser, time away from work means no income, and we are asking for help to ease the burden of basic living expenses and recovery costs during this difficult time.

Anyone who knows Penny knows she never asks for help, but right now she truly needs support. Our hope is that this surgery will allow her to heal, feel like herself again, and spend more quality time making memories with her children and grandsons.
