My name is Kathy Mooney and I am trying to raise money for my sister Penny McSherry . On February 23, 2026 Penny was working and she slipped and fell at work and broke her pelvis in 3 places. While they were doing scans they discovered a mass on her kidney and she was told the horrible news. She has kidney cancer. She had her kidney removed on April 13, 2026. She was just released from the hospital on 4-19-26. She was working two jobs when she fell and still is unable to walk after 9 weeks. She didn’t have insurance and we don’t know if or when she will be able to work again. Penny has an extremely long road to recovery.
