Hello everyone! My name is Kaelynn, and I just recently adopted my baby Penny in January. Prior to this, she could never find somewhere she was truly able to call home.
Since then, we have noticed a decrease in her weight at a rapid speed. While following up with the vet and trying to find solutions, we had to bring her to the animal hospital.
Today we found out that Penny is suffering from pancreatitis pretty severely. As a result, we have to hospitalize her in order to stabilize her levels to give her the chance to recover. This stay comes at a huge cost, but after hearing that she will make it if we do it, we could never say no.
We are working so hard to be able to give her a new life at nine years old and let her live her years out at home and not in pain or sickness. Anything is so appreciated, including prayers
