Our sweet penny girl has an aggressive bone cancer. 6 yr old rottweiler, fixed utd vaccines, 90lbs. In the xray I’ll attach (regular xray, and markup for easier understanding) you can see theres already been bone deterioration from the mass making room for itself. We can also visibly see the mass in the pics of her and in the video see she will not put weight on the leg. We will be speaking with oncology tomorrow (9/9) hopefully, they don’t open until Tuesday so that’s when we will be calling. We paid $325 for the xray already, oncology Initial costs will be for sedation for a CT scan, probably over $1000-3,000 just for that and then hopefully to amputate her right hind leg and then ongoing chemo. This is going to be a pricey fight for our girl but we can’t let her go yet. Unless the oncologist says it’s spread too far and we cannot do anything more, we will fight for her. I will update the GFM after we see the oncologist and get some actual numbers hopefully they can get us in tomorrow, but for now we need to start the fund raising for initial costs. Please help us save our baby. All pics are in Autumn Nilsson name as she is my mom and her actual owner and the beneficiary of this fundraiser, but she is both our dogs. Please anything helps. Please share. Please pray for our girl updates to come in the next few days.

A little about Penny- Tynille (me) and my mom Autumn went to petco to look at a dog adoption event. They had this beautiful 4 month old Rottweiler Penny. We already have a fiesty chihuahua named Benny- so the names were kismet. Penny was a little reserved and scared, she came from a neglectful accidental breeder, they didn’t realize the mom was pregnant and when she had the pups they were majorly neglected of their needs and human affection- they were found and rescued in a barn, the mom nowhere to be found. 6 had passed away, 6 survived and our Penny was the last at the adoption event. We took penny home with us and gave her a loving home. When we were at the adoption event we had Benny with us. They didn't want to let us adopt her because they thought Penny would end up hurting Benny one day because of the size difference. We had to sign an agreement to put her through training with Petco. We did 2 rounds of training and she has never once thought of snapping at Benny or any other dog. She's an angel baby who wants nothing more than to play with her ball & her humans. Penny is the best temperament dog we’ve not only owned, but encountered. She is sweet, happy go lucky, and submissive. Anytime any dog shows dominance or aggression towards penny, she bows and rolls over, just wanting a buddy to play with. Happy with family or strangers, she just wants loves. Penny has had some previous leg injuries to her knees, where Autumn has nursed her lovingly back to full health each time. She is fed only homemade food made right in their kitchen every couple of days. No toxins ever for this girl. She has worn leg braces and helped nurse herself back to health by using her healthy legs to give her injured one a break. When she started limping again, we thought she just hurt her knee again. Within the week, a swollen mass started to appear so Autumn took her to the vet. They took X-rays and commended Autumn on pennys other leg that no longer shows any signs of injuries or tears on the xray— but that’s where we got the earth shattering news that this is an aggressive, fast progressing cancer and we have no time to wait before seeing oncology. That leads us to this. Not being able to chase the ball has made her very sad the last two weeks. And we hope the amputation will give her back the ability to experience the things she loves.

If anyone have any other resources- Anywhere we might be able to join or call or go to to help our pup please let us know. We’ll do anything. Not above asking for help for our dog
