I'm a very good friend of Penny J. DeGeer. Unfortunately, we lost Penny on September 28th. She passed away while on vacation in the US. She had surgery a few weeks prior, and we believe she passed away from complications of the surgery. The medical examiner said it will take up to 8 weeks to get tests returned.

In the meantime, the family wants to bring Penny (PJ) home from Florida for burial but is having a difficult time raising the funds.

Any amount you can donate will go directly towards the transport of Penny's ashes. If there is any extra, it will be donated to Give Kids the World, a favorite charity of Penny's (it's where the Make-A-Wish families stay while visiting Walt Disney World).
