Support Penelope's Mobility and Safety

I am Penelope Conway and in need of a new and improved powerchair for my mobility needs along with new smart home technologies that use sensors to track movement to alert caregivers of potential falls. My recent fall made my needs clearer. As many of you know, I am the writer of Positive Living with MS and am 100% wheelchair bound. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2013 (PPMS) and my progression has been continuously worsening. My doctor sent me to Numotion for an evaluation to get a new powerchair and all the documents needed.

The chair along with wiring up my home for safety protection is imperative. The smart home will track my movements inside the house with sensors that send out strategic alerts/messages to specific people for emergencies when a fall is detected or other abnormal movement is detected. All of it will cost $10,000 out of pocket after medicare and my supplemental insurance covers their part of the bill. It will be equipment better suited for my needs to help me safely move around my home and a much needed part of being able to continue to live alone with peace of mind for my nearby family. Any support would be much appreciated in helping me get this new chair.

I no longer work due to the progression of MS in my body. I have trouble cognitively as well as with uncontrollable tremors and weakness. Since my recent powerchair transfer fall, the newer model that has been recommended will make my life so much better and hopefully no more falls will happen. Thank you in advance for your support.
