Support Penelope's Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
On August 1st after 2 weeks of being in and out of the pediatricians office, Fallon Moran and Thomas Apicella received life changing news. Their daughter Penelope who turned 2 July 13th, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. AML is a cancer that effects the white blood cells and bone marrow and after intensive testing and operations, Penelope started chemotherapy treatment on 8/6.
All who have met Penelope know she is a fighter, a vibrant light, a princess and an intelligent, funny little girl. She loves Hakuna Matata, Let It Go, Unicorns, Bubbles, Chocolate and stickers. She is the sweetest, kindest and generous soul who is a fighter through and through.
As they navigate the road ahead, financial strain will undoubtedly come up as this intensive treatment requires Penelope’s parents to take significant time off work. Penelope will be in the hospital for a month at a time while she receives treatment. All donations will go directly to the treatment bills to allow her parents to focus on Penelope and her treatment.
If you have ever mat Penelope, you know what bright light she brings to this world. If you have not yet had the pleasure of meeting The Apicella’s, please know you are helping to support wonderful members of our community who are the first to help and support if needed. We know Penelope will BEAT Leukemia to a pulp!
