My brother’s dog, Penelope, is a sweet pug who is currently dealing with what looks like a serious medical issue—possibly a prolapse—and needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible.

Penelope is the sweetest dog who loves all other animals and especially people. She tries to befriend every person she meets and gets so excited anytime she sees someone—it’s just who she is.

Right now, my brother is not in a financial position to afford emergency veterinary care, but this is something that cannot wait. Penelope is clearly uncomfortable, and we’re worried about things getting worse without treatment.

Over the past five years, our family has gone through a lot of unexpected challenges, and this is another situation that we’re struggling to handle on our own. We’re doing everything we can, but right now we truly need help.

We’re raising money to help cover:

• Emergency vet exam

• Necessary treatment or medication

• Possible procedures if needed
