Support Pelon's Recovery and Family

Friends and families, it's time to rally for one of the best kids we know!

Daniel Herrera, aka Pelon, (on the left in the above photo) has been in the hospital since Saturday, diagnosed with Meningitis. He's fighting but in a lot of pain. Last night was the first time he was able to sleep for at least 2 hours in a row. This kid is suffering, and we can't go in and give him a great big hug, so instead, let's do what we are able to do and help their family while they're in the thick of it.

The prognosis is hopeful, but medical bills are piling up as they are not sure when he will be released. Kristal and Danny are the amazing parents of 4 children - that alone can be an expensive venture. This will be a new expense that will make things financially frightening.

Pelon is currently playing ball at Saddleback and going to school to be a Nutritionist. He's a disciplined and focused kid - beyond his years. His priorities are his family, friends, health, baseball and school. He played for the Stallions from day one till the end and attended Scripps Ranch High School.

Help me help this family...until we can give this kid, who doesn't really love hugs, a huge hug in person!!!
