Every spike, every dive, every triumphant cheer tells the story of determination. At Pelister Volej Girls Volleyball Club, we're not just building athletes, we're building confident young women who understand the power of teamwork, perseverance, and believing in themselves.

Our history

The Pelister Volej Volleyball Club from Bitola was founded in 2011 by a group of enthusiasts and quickly joined the competition system in Macedonia's state leagues. In just a few years, the club reached its first final in 2015 and became vice-champion in the cadet category. Over the last ten years the club achieved significant success in youth categories, winning:

• 1 championship title

• 7 silver medals

• 4 bronze medals

With the senior team, Pelister Volej competed for a full 6 years in the highest rank First State League, then for 3 years in the Second State League, as well as regularly in the Cup competitions.

Our mission

Our club serves as a beacon of opportunity for girls in our community, providing a safe space where they can develop athletic skills, forge lifelong friendships, and learn valuable life lessons through the sport of volleyball. We believe every girl deserves the chance to play, regardless of her family's financial situation.

Pelister Volej is a not-for-profit, citizens' association composed of volleyball players from the city of Bitola. The club has permit for sports activities issued by the Agency for Youth and Sports in 2014 and is legally organized under a club Statute, led by a President with a four-year mandate and the right to one consecutive re-election. The club owns designated account strictly controlled the Public Revenue Office (PRO).

Why We Need Your Support

In 2025 Pelister Volej achieved another milestone and qualified for the First State League yet again. Competing at this level, the club needs financial support not just to participate but remain in the First League, while the coaching team delivers the same focus to all of the youth categories for which the club, since its existence, has advocated. Pelister Volej has made a core mission not to pass registration fees to athletes, cover travel and equipment costs, and likewise ensure vulnerable categories of children remain exempt from any fees.

Taking into account this situation, but also the desire for even greater progress, the club tries in every possible legally regulated way to raise funds from various sponsors, foundations, donations, and to use them exclusively for needs of the athletes.
