Help Save My Sweet Cat Pekoe

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea. My cat, Pekoe, is very sick. I created this GoFundMe because without urgent treatment, she won’t survive.

Yesterday, I noticed something was wrong—she was straining in the litter box for over 30 minutes. I trusted my gut and rushed her to the vet. The results were devastating. Pekoe has a severely inflamed bladder that’s blocking her bowels. Her white blood cell count is dangerously high, yet she doesn’t have a UTI or bladder crystals. Her condition is rare and serious.

The cost of treatment is beyond my means, and that’s not even including follow-up care she’ll likely need. I’m doing everything I can, but I’m disabled due to autoimmune illness and living on a very limited income. I simply can’t afford this on my own.

Pekoe is only 5 years old. She’s otherwise healthy and full of life. She’s more than just a pet—she’s my emotional lifeline. During the pandemic lockdown, I was isolated for a year and a half because of my health. I was truly at my breaking point, and Pekoe saved me. Then in 2022, I lost my partner, and once again, she was my rock. She’s the one constant that’s helped me hold on.

I’m not giving up on her. I won’t. But I can’t do this alone.
