This is Peitri Dish!!! My perfect beautiful sweet amazing baby... I took him in on a freezing December night during a downpour, and when I found out he had no owner or microchip, he immediately became my flesh and blood child. I had a hefty chunk of savings prepared for him, so I wasn't worried about the financial aspect, but he proved to be difficult - quickly developing a sever upper respiratory infection and contracting tapeworms. I handled it and he recovered fully from both, however he drained every cent of my funds

I thought the worst was over and that I had time to build them back up, but curiosity got the best of him and he ingested lily pollen - I had no idea how toxic they were until looking it up, but as I'm writing this the vet fees are piling up like crazy and he's not in the clear yet. I really wouldn't be making this if it wasn't an actual emergency, but if I don't take him in again he has a good chance of liver & kidney failure (death)

I don't mind putting myself in mounds of credit card debt to keep my baby alive (he genuinely means the WORLD to me) but if there's anyone out there who has a little extra cash I would be immensely grateful to anybody who's able to contribute to allowing this overgrown kitten a promising future.

Funds will be used to pay off the vet bills, both from today and in the next two days. (the fundraiser amount is about a third of what it's going to cost to fully treat him.)

Also, to explain: He ingested a small but highly lethal amount of lily pollen. Every part of the plant is extremely toxic to cats (I had no idea) and causes vomiting and diarrhea, dehydration, frequent urination and lethargy within 12 hours of ingestion. At 24 hours, irreversible liver and kidney damage occurs and at 48- 72 hours liver & kidney failure occur, killing the cat.
