Support Peg's Journey Back Home

Donation protected
Margaret “Peg” Jost lost her home to a chimney fire on April 24, 2025. The house was christened as “RockyRidge Cottage” when built in 1919. Her grandmother bought the house in 1952 for a summer home. Peg has lived there since 1971! She raised her daughter, Jaime, there. Peg is a kind woman who loves animals, which was evident as she ran back into the house to try to save her cats. The fate of her cats is not yet known. We fear the worst, but are hoping some find their way home. Peg’s home was not insured, so we are asking our friends and neighbors for help to fund a tiny home or similar so that she can stay at the lake she has called home for 50 years. Peg is currently staying with Jaime in Saint Paul, but if you know Peg, you know she’s a country girl. Anything is appreciated.
