Peggy “Mama” Taylor
Many of you have been the recipient of her love, care, and prayers; and know what a gift and light of Christ, she is in the world. In November last year, Peggy had a stroke. She continues to have all her faculties of humor, intellect, and Christ’s compassion and love intact; however now needs 24 hour care and an extensive rehabilitation program.
Our current health care system has no good options in place for people without resources. Our goal is to get Peggy the care she needs to get stronger, and then, after her acute rehab, for her to stay living locally; so that she can return to God Speak, her home church, and be surrounded by her loved ones. Depending on the level of her recovery, the annual need for this is estimated at a min. of $150,000.
At 91, she worked her entire life; and has no savings because whatever she had beyond her needs, she would give to someone she felt needed it more. She serves and loves unconditionally, and in her time of need I pray that the spirit of generosity would overwhelm us, and we would see it in our hearts to serve Peggy now through a contribution of any size, large or small.
