Peggy was found living with a gnarly wound and nerve damage from being hit by a car. We instantly asked to take her because the “owners” were just not doing anything about it. The pain had to be horrible. Two agonizing weeks rock on and they finally agree to surrender her.

Our amazing followers raised the money for her amputation and our next focus was finding her a home. Enter Real Happy Farms and this is where the magic happens. (It didn’t hurt that Peggy is one of the sweetest easiest dogs out there). She was seen by a family who had lost their dog a year ago and was ready to open their heart to another dog. And they fell in love with Peggy!!

As with most of the dogs we run at RHF, the adopters are not local and this means transportation costs. We always waive the adoption donation to allow the adopters to contribute what they can to transportation costs, and hope to raise the remainder. We can’t save all the dogs but we try to drastically change the lives of those we can with your help. If you’re able to donate, anything is greatly appreciated.
