Support Peggy's Cancer Battle and Recovery

I have known Peggy O’Connor for too many years, acknowledging how many years would tell you we are both old. Peggy and I worked together at University Liggett School. She was irreverent then and remains so today. Her irreverence, her sarcasm and her humor are why I love her so much. She is also one of the strongest, fiercest, most intelligent and independent women I know.

Peggy hasn’t had the easiest life, for sure. Now, again, she is battling Primary Bile Duct Cancer, Stage 2b. She has had surgery (taking 1/2 of her liver) and has had various chemotherapy and immunotherapy sessions since November of 2023. She would never ask for help, but I am certain her bills are climbing every day. And, with health care under attack and costs for medicines soaring, who knows what’s next for Peggy.
