Support Peggy Hilden's Medical Recovery and Animal Sanctuary

My name is Lori Anderson and this lovely amazing lady is my sister Peggy Hilden. She and her partner, Charles have an animal sanctuary and permaculture farm in Lakebay Washington. This was a long-time realized dream of theirs that became a reality in 2021. At a family visit in Wisconsin, Peggy was significantly injured as a result of a fall on Sunday, August 18, 2024. She is the primary caretaker of 8 of the 10 beautiful rescue horses that they currently have. Unfortunately, due to her injuries, she will not be physically able to care for them and will have to hire others to do this work while she is recovering. She also will not be able to teach her workshops with the horses and healthcare professionals that provide an income stream that supports the sanctuary expenses.
