I’m starting this fundraiser for my friend, Peewee. A few weeks ago, he was diagnosed with cancer, and since then, his world has been turned upside down. The days are now filled with doctor visits, chemotherapy sessions, and a constant stream of medical bills and everyday expenses that don’t stop just because life has been interrupted. Peewee is a tough, stubborn, kind, and funny person—someone who’s always shown resilience, even when the odds are stacked against him. But cancer doesn’t just attack the body; it brings a wave of financial pressure at the worst possible time.

Right now, Peewee has nothing left because of these treatments. He’s an older guy who doesn’t get out much, and most of his family are gone. The few who are still around aren’t able to help, and he doesn’t have a big circle of friends to lean on. I know if I were in his place, the last thing I’d want to worry about is unpaid bills or an empty plate. That’s why I’m reaching out to our community—to try and find some relief for him, so he can focus on getting through this fight with dignity and hope.
