Support Pedro (Pete) as he battles Double Lymphoma

Two years ago Pedro Durazo was diagnosed with a rare form of T-cell lymphoma, mycosis fungoides. Despite enduring intense treatments and even the loss of a toe, Pedro remained determined—working part-time as a caretaker after losing his full-time job due to treatment-related absences. (He currently has an ADA complaint pending.)

In May 2025, Pedro’s health took a sudden and devastating turn. He began experiencing confusion, memory loss, and partial paralysis. Within days, he was completely paralyzed, unable to even eat or swallow. Doctors discovered a large, inoperable brain tumor from another type of Lymphoma. He is now undergoing alternating rounds of chemotherapy and physical therapy, and we are encouraged by small signs of progress.

Pedro has been hospitalized since May 16th, moving between emergency rooms, neurology and oncology wards, and acute rehab centers. His wife is dedicating 100% of her time to his care and to advocating for the best treatments possible. His family is doing everything they can, but the emotional and financial burden is growing.

Pedro is a loving father of five, including twin boys thay are still in school. He has always dedicated his life to serving others—as a public servant, a youth wrestling coach, and a constant source of kindness and support to those around him. He faces every challenge, including his current ones, with courage, positivity, and gratitude.
