Hello, my name is Pedro Hernandez. I have been a DACA recipient for over 14 years and have had to renew my work permit every two years. Recently, I lost the job I held for six years because my work authorization expired and my renewed permit did not arrive in time. This is the first time I have experienced such a delay, and my case has now been pending for over two months.

As a result, I have been struggling to support myself and my family during this difficult time as we need to pay our rent. I am also at risk of losing my car, which is our only source of transportation. In addition, my unemployment benefits were denied because my work authorization is currently expired.

I am respectfully asking for any assistance or support you may be able to provide. Any help would be deeply appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
