Support Pedro and Francy

Recently, Pedro received the news of gallbladder cancer that has spread to his liver this week, a shock that none of us anticipated. Pedro is truly someone you can't help but admire—he's always been there to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness and genuineness have touched countless lives, including mine, my brother's and mom’s.

Nearly a decade ago, Pedro and his wife, Francy, left the USA to start anew in Pedro's homeland of Bolivia. Their journey has been far from easy, but with unwavering faith and support from those around them, they've persevered through every challenge.

Currently, they face another daunting hurdle as there isn't a surgical oncologist available locally, requiring Pedro to seek treatment far from home in locations like La Paz. They are also grappling with the prospect of relocating or finding a temporary residence for the duration of his treatment. It's an overwhelming situation, but Pedro and Francy, guided by their strong faith, believe in a higher purpose for their trials.

Recientemente, Pedro recibió la noticia de cáncer de vesícula biliar que se ha extendido a su hígado esta semana, un golpe que ninguno de nosotros anticipaba. Pedro es verdaderamente alguien que no puedes evitar admirar; siempre ha estado dispuesto a ayudar a quienes lo necesitan. Su amabilidad y genuinidad han tocado innumerables vidas, incluyendo la mía, la de mi hermano y mamá.

Hace casi una década, Pedro y su esposa, Francy, dejaron Estados Unidos para comenzar de nuevo en la tierra natal de Pedro, Bolivia. Su camino ha sido todo menos fácil, pero con fe inquebrantable y el apoyo de quienes los rodean, han superado cada desafío.

Actualmente, enfrentan otro obstáculo desalentador, ya que no hay un oncólogo quirúrgico disponible localmente, lo que obliga a Pedro a buscar tratamiento lejos de casa, en lugares como La Paz. También están buscando una residencia temporal para el tratamiento de Pedro. Es una situación dura pero confiamos en el Señor que él les abrirá las puertas y estará con ellos en esta situación. 

Pedro y Francy, guiados por su fuerte fe, creen que el Señor tiene un propósito con todo esto.
