Support Pearl's Journey to Graduation
Donation protected
In December of 2007, I sponsored a beautiful little girl named Pearl through an organization called Compassion International. Watching her grow up into a lovely young woman has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Pearl graduated from the Compassion program in July when she turned 22 years old. In a miraculous turn of events, I was able to locate her on Facebook. We have been messaging almost daily. Pearl has confided in me that she cannot afford her education debt any longer. She has a year and half left of school, but she may not be able to complete her studies due to the mounting costs. Pearl has lived in poverty in the Philippines and has overcome SO MUCH!! She is SO hard-working and I am so proud of her. Her debt amounts to $500 US dollars. Michael and I cannot afford to cover this ourselves, but I am hoping and praying that maybe I have just 20 friends willing to give $25. That would erase her debt and give this worthy, hard-working young lady a chance to earn her degree and forever conquer poverty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
